18m Scissor Lifts for Rent in Saudi Arabia

What to consider when renting 18m scissor lifts

Hiring 18m scissor lifts goes more smoothly when the basics are settled before you ask for prices. These points shape the quote:

• Start from the specification: max working height and platform capacity are what separate one set of 18m scissor lifts from another, so note them down before you ask for rates.
• 18m scissor lifts are usually hired without an operator unless the listing says otherwise; if your crew is not qualified to run one, ask for an operator with the machine.
• Make sure your crew has the familiarisation and fall-protection equipment the site requires, and ask whether the supplier can provide it.
• Ask what delivery and return cost, who loads and unloads, and the condition the machine must be returned in.
• Share the site location, access route and start date so the supplier can confirm availability for your dates.

What the 18m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 18m class groups scissor lifts whose max working height falls roughly between 16 and 30 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 10m scissor lifts, 8m scissor lifts, 12m scissor lifts and 14m scissor lifts.

What affects the price of renting 18m scissor lifts

There is no single market rate for 18m scissor lifts: the figure on a quote depends on the points below.

• Delivery and return: mobilisation to and from your site is often charged separately and depends on distance and machine size.
• Availability: rates can move with demand, so the same machine may be quoted differently at different times of year.
• VAT: listed rates are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.
