18m Telehandlers for Rent in Saudi Arabia

What to consider when renting 18m telehandlers

Use this checklist when you compare offers for 18m telehandlers:

• Know your numbers: the specifications that matter most for 18m telehandlers are max lift capacity, max lift height and max forward reach. Having them to hand makes quotes faster and more accurate.
• Check who will run it. 18m telehandlers are often dry hire, so if nobody on your crew is qualified, ask the supplier whether an operator can be added.
• Ask for the current inspection certificate of the lifting equipment and the certification of the operator and rigger before the machine is mobilised.
• Check what the rate includes: fuel, operator, insurance, consumables and the supplier's breakdown response.
• Rates on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

What the 18m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 18m class groups telehandlers whose max lift height falls roughly between 16 and 30 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

A telehandler's capacity falls as the boom extends, so read the load chart at your working height and forward reach rather than relying on the headline figure.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 7m telehandlers, 10m telehandlers and 14m telehandlers.

What affects the price of renting 18m telehandlers

Quotes for 18m telehandlers differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Duration: longer hires are usually priced lower per day, and many suppliers quote daily, weekly and monthly rates.
• Delivery and return: mobilisation to and from your site is often charged separately and depends on distance and machine size.
• Availability: rates can move with demand, so the same machine may be quoted differently at different times of year.
