2-ton Forklifts for Sale in the UAE

What to check before buying 2-ton forklifts

Before you commit to buying 2-ton forklifts, work through these checks:

• Line up the key figures for 2-ton forklifts: rated lifting capacity and max lift height. Check each against the data plate and the manufacturer's data for the model.
• Ask for the load chart, the latest third-party inspection certificate and the maintenance history, and check the serial numbers against the documents.
• Arrange an inspection before you pay, ideally by someone independent of the seller.
• Prices on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

What the 2-ton class means

On Arabian Tool, the 2-ton class groups forklifts whose rated lifting capacity falls roughly between 1 and 2.5 tonnes. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Rated capacity applies at a stated load centre and lift height. With attachments, a tall mast or an off-centre load the usable capacity is lower, so check the data plate against your heaviest pallet.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 3-ton forklifts, 5-ton forklifts, 7-ton forklifts, 10-ton forklifts and 16-ton forklifts.

What affects the price of 2-ton forklifts for sale

Quotes for 2-ton forklifts differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Condition and hours: a lower hour-meter reading and a documented service history usually support a higher price.
• Year and model: newer models and popular configurations hold their value better.
• Location and transport: moving heavy equipment adds cost that depends on distance and machine size.
