3-ton Forklifts for Rent in Abu Dhabi

What to consider when renting 3-ton forklifts

Use this checklist when you compare offers for 3-ton forklifts:

• Know your numbers: the specifications that matter most for 3-ton forklifts are rated lifting capacity and max lift height. Having them to hand makes quotes faster and more accurate.
• 3-ton forklifts are usually hired without an operator unless the listing says otherwise; if your crew is not qualified to run one, ask for an operator with the machine.
• Ask for the current inspection certificate of the lifting equipment and the certification of the operator and rigger before the machine is mobilised.
• Check what the rate includes: fuel, operator, insurance, consumables and the supplier's breakdown response.
• Share the site location, access route and start date so the supplier can confirm availability for your dates.

What the 3-ton class means

On Arabian Tool, the 3-ton class groups forklifts whose rated lifting capacity falls roughly between 2.5 and 3.5 tonnes. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Rated capacity applies at a stated load centre and lift height. With attachments, a tall mast or an off-centre load the usable capacity is lower, so check the data plate against your heaviest pallet.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 2-ton forklifts, 5-ton forklifts, 7-ton forklifts, 10-ton forklifts and 16-ton forklifts.

What affects the price of renting 3-ton forklifts

Quotes for 3-ton forklifts differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Delivery and return: mobilisation to and from your site is often charged separately and depends on distance and machine size.
• Machine size and age: larger, newer or better-equipped machines are priced higher.
• VAT: listed rates are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.
