Forklifts for Sale in Abu Dhabi

What to check before buying forklifts

Use this checklist when you compare machines and prices for forklifts:

• Compare the specifications that matter most for forklifts: rated lifting capacity and max lift height. Confirm them on the machine's data plate, not only in the advert.
• Ask for the load chart, the latest third-party inspection certificate and the maintenance history, and check the serial numbers against the documents.
• Agree what is included in the price, who arranges transport, and the payment and handover terms in writing.
• Ask what warranty or after-sales support, if any, the seller offers, and get it in writing.

Choosing the right forklift size

Forklifts are usually specified by rated lifting capacity. On Arabian Tool you can browse these classes: 3-ton, 5-ton, 7-ton, 10-ton and 16-ton.

Rated capacity applies at a stated load centre and lift height. With attachments, a tall mast or an off-centre load the usable capacity is lower, so check the data plate against your heaviest pallet.

If you prefer a particular make, these have dedicated pages: Hyster, Linde, Heli and Hangcha. Standardising on one brand can simplify parts and operator training.

What affects the price of forklifts for sale

Two quotes for forklifts can differ widely for good reasons. Check these factors when you compare:

• Condition and hours: a lower hour-meter reading and a documented service history usually support a higher price.
• Year and model: newer models and popular configurations hold their value better.
• VAT: listed prices are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for forklifts in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates and the centre of its oil and gas sector, with major industrial and port zones such as KIZAD and Khalifa Port. Forklifts are core equipment for oil and gas, as well as construction work.

Other jobs that call for them: pallet handling and racking in warehouses, as well as moving building materials around construction sites.

Industrial areas, ports and project sites such as Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD) and Khalifa Port are part of the picture around Abu Dhabi. Say which site you are working at so suppliers can quote delivery properly.

Nearby bases and their straight-line distance from Abu Dhabi: Dubai (about 120 km) and Sharjah (about 140 km). Delivery is priced on the actual route and the machine's size, so ask each supplier for a delivered price.
