12m Scissor Lifts for Rent in Dammam

What to consider when renting 12m scissor lifts

Hiring 12m scissor lifts goes more smoothly when the basics are settled before you ask for prices. These points shape the quote:

• Know your numbers: the specifications that matter most for 12m scissor lifts are max working height and platform capacity. Having them to hand makes quotes faster and more accurate.
• 12m scissor lifts are usually hired without an operator unless the listing says otherwise; if your crew is not qualified to run one, ask for an operator with the machine.
• Choose the power and drive type for the site: electric platforms suit indoor and finished floors, while diesel rough-terrain models suit uneven outdoor ground.
• Ask for the registration, inspection and operator documents your site or client requires before the machine arrives.
• Rates on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

What the 12m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 12m class groups scissor lifts whose max working height falls roughly between 11 and 13 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 10m scissor lifts, 8m scissor lifts, 14m scissor lifts and 18m scissor lifts.

What affects the price of renting 12m scissor lifts

There is no single market rate for 12m scissor lifts: the figure on a quote depends on the points below.

• Duration: longer hires are usually priced lower per day, and many suppliers quote daily, weekly and monthly rates.
• Site and access: remote sites, restricted access and special permits can add cost.
• Availability: rates can move with demand, so the same machine may be quoted differently at different times of year.

Dammam is the capital of the Eastern Province and a leading commercial and port city on the Saudi Gulf coast, close to the Kingdom's oil and gas facilities. For industrial and power, as well as construction work, 12m scissor lifts are core equipment.

Other jobs that call for them: ceiling, MEP and fire-system installation, as well as warehouse and retail maintenance.

If the machine you want is not in Dammam, a supplier in a nearby city may be able to deliver it: Al Khobar (about 20 km), Dhahran (about 15 km) and Jubail (about 80 km), measured in a straight line. Tell us if you are flexible on where the machine starts from.
