12m Scissor Lifts for Sale in Doha

What to check before buying 12m scissor lifts

Before you commit to buying 12m scissor lifts, work through these checks:

• Compare the specifications that matter most for 12m scissor lifts: max working height and platform capacity. Confirm them on the machine's data plate, not only in the advert.
• Ask for service and inspection records, including the latest examination of the lifting structure, and the manufacturer's data for the model.
• Agree what is included in the price, who arranges transport, and the payment and handover terms in writing.
• Prices on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

What the 12m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 12m class groups scissor lifts whose max working height falls roughly between 11 and 13 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 10m scissor lifts, 8m scissor lifts, 14m scissor lifts and 18m scissor lifts.

What affects the price of 12m scissor lifts for sale

Two quotes for 12m scissor lifts can differ widely for good reasons. Check these factors when you compare:

• Condition and hours: a lower hour-meter reading and a documented service history usually support a higher price.
• Year and model: newer models and popular configurations hold their value better.
• Location and transport: moving heavy equipment adds cost that depends on distance and machine size.

Typical projects for 12m scissor lifts in Doha

Doha is the capital and main city of Qatar, on the Gulf coast, with Hamad Port to the south and the industrial cities of Ras Laffan and Mesaieed within reach. 12m scissor lifts are core equipment for construction work. You will often see 12m scissor lifts on oil and gas sites.

Other jobs that call for them: interior fit-out and painting, as well as cladding and facade work on low-rise buildings.

Straight-line distances from Doha to the nearest bases in our data: Manama (about 140 km) and Dammam (about 190 km). Road distance and machine size drive mobilisation cost, so a supplier based closer is often cheaper to deliver from. Say in your request if you are open to a machine based elsewhere.
