20m Boom Lifts for Rent in Dubai

What to consider when renting 20m boom lifts

Hiring 20m boom lifts goes more smoothly when the basics are settled before you ask for prices. These points shape the quote:

• Start from the specification: max working height, max horizontal outreach and platform capacity are what separate one set of 20m boom lifts from another, so note them down before you ask for rates.
• Check who will run it. 20m boom lifts are often dry hire, so if nobody on your crew is qualified, ask the supplier whether an operator can be added.
• Check working height and outreach against the actual task. Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is lower than the figure quoted.
• Confirm the minimum rental period, the daily, weekly or monthly rate, and what happens when the machine stands idle on site.
• Rates on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

What the 20m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 20m class groups boom lifts whose max working height falls roughly between 17 and 24 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 14m boom lifts, 10m boom lifts, 28m boom lifts and 40m boom lifts.

What affects the price of renting 20m boom lifts

Two quotes for 20m boom lifts can differ widely for good reasons. Check these factors when you compare:

• Site and access: remote sites, restricted access and special permits can add cost.
• Machine size and age: larger, newer or better-equipped machines are priced higher.
• Availability: rates can move with demand, so the same machine may be quoted differently at different times of year.

Typical projects for 20m boom lifts in Dubai

Dubai is the largest city in the United Arab Emirates and a major regional hub for construction, trade and logistics, home to Jebel Ali Port. For construction, as well as industrial and power work, 20m boom lifts are core equipment.

Other jobs that call for them: steel erection, welding and bolting at height, as well as painting, inspection and maintenance of tall structures.

Straight-line distances from Dubai to the nearest bases in our data: Sharjah (about 20 km) and Abu Dhabi (about 120 km). Road distance and machine size drive mobilisation cost, so a supplier based closer is often cheaper to deliver from. Say in your request if you are open to a machine based elsewhere.
