Which mini excavator size should I choose?

Start from the narrowest opening the machine must pass through, then the trench depth you need and the ground. Smaller machines fit through narrow gates and doorways but dig shallower and lift less. Check the machine's transport width and the minimum access width before booking.

Rubber or steel tracks?

Rubber tracks protect paved and finished surfaces and are quieter; steel tracks last longer on rock and demolition debris. Tell the supplier what surface the machine will work and travel on.

What attachments are available for mini excavators?

Typical options include narrow trenching buckets, a hydraulic breaker, an auger and a grab, usually fitted through a quick coupler. Availability depends on the supplier and the machine's hydraulic flow, so list the attachments you need when you request a quote.
