Rigid tipper or articulated dump truck?

Rigid road-going tippers suit paved routes and public roads. Articulated dump trucks handle soft, steep or uneven ground inside the site and usually stay on site, moving between sites on trailers. Tell the supplier where the truck will drive.

Is the driver included, and how is hire charged?

Dump trucks are commonly hired with a driver and charged by the day, month, hour or per trip, depending on the supplier. Confirm the charging basis and who covers fuel and any site or access fees.

How do I choose the payload size?

Match the truck to the machine that loads it and to the haul route: the loader or excavator should fill it in a few passes, and axle-load limits on the route must be respected. Provide the material type and haul distance for a recommendation.
