Can a trencher cut through rock?

Rock trenchers with suitable tooth chains can cut weathered rock and hard ground, but cutting speed and tooth wear depend heavily on rock strength. Share ground investigation results if you have them.

How do I confirm the trench depth and width?

Depth and width are set by the boom and the chain or wheel fitted. Check the machine's maximum depth and the available widths against your specification before booking.
