7m Telehandlers for Rent in Jeddah

What to consider when renting 7m telehandlers

Use this checklist when you compare offers for 7m telehandlers:

• Start from the specification: max lift capacity, max lift height and max forward reach are what separate one set of 7m telehandlers from another, so note them down before you ask for rates.
• 7m telehandlers are usually hired without an operator unless the listing says otherwise; if your crew is not qualified to run one, ask for an operator with the machine.
• Ask for the current inspection certificate of the lifting equipment and the certification of the operator and rigger before the machine is mobilised.
• Ask what delivery and return cost, who loads and unloads, and the condition the machine must be returned in.
• Rates on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

What the 7m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 7m class groups telehandlers whose max lift height falls roughly between 4 and 8.5 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

A telehandler's capacity falls as the boom extends, so read the load chart at your working height and forward reach rather than relying on the headline figure.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 10m telehandlers, 14m telehandlers and 18m telehandlers.

What affects the price of renting 7m telehandlers

Quotes for 7m telehandlers differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Operator and fuel: check whether the rate is for the machine alone or includes an operator, fuel and overtime.
• Delivery and return: mobilisation to and from your site is often charged separately and depends on distance and machine size.
• Machine size and age: larger, newer or better-equipped machines are priced higher.

Typical projects for 7m telehandlers in Jeddah

Jeddah is a major Red Sea port city and the commercial hub of western Saudi Arabia, home to Jeddah Islamic Port. 7m telehandlers are core equipment for logistics and ports, as well as construction work.

Further uses include fitting a work platform for access at height and moving loads over uneven site ground.

Straight-line distances from Jeddah to the nearest bases in our data: Makkah (about 75 km), Taif (about 130 km) and Yanbu (about 310 km). Road distance and machine size drive mobilisation cost, so a supplier based closer is often cheaper to deliver from. Say in your request if you are open to a machine based elsewhere.
