Telehandlers for Sale in Jeddah

What to check before buying telehandlers

Before you commit to buying telehandlers, work through these checks:

• Line up the key figures for telehandlers: max lift capacity, max lift height and max forward reach. Check each against the data plate and the manufacturer's data for the model.
• Confirm the configuration being sold (boom, counterweights, jib, attachments) and that safety devices such as load-moment indicators work.
• Ask for the ownership and registration documents and check that they match the machine's serial number.
• Arrange an inspection before you pay, ideally by someone independent of the seller.

Choosing the right telehandler size

Telehandlers are usually specified by max lift height. On Arabian Tool you can browse these classes: 7m, 10m, 14m and 18m.

A telehandler's capacity falls as the boom extends, so read the load chart at your working height and forward reach rather than relying on the headline figure.

If you prefer a particular make, these have dedicated pages: Manitou, JCB, Genie and Bobcat. Standardising on one brand can simplify parts and operator training.

What affects the price of telehandlers for sale

There is no single market rate for telehandlers: the figure on a quote depends on the points below.

• Condition and hours: a lower hour-meter reading and a documented service history usually support a higher price.
• Year and model: newer models and popular configurations hold their value better.
• VAT: listed prices are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for telehandlers in Jeddah

Jeddah is a major Red Sea port city and the commercial hub of western Saudi Arabia, home to Jeddah Islamic Port. Telehandlers are core equipment for logistics and ports, as well as construction work.

They are also put to work on loading formwork, scaffolding and pallets to upper levels, as well as moving loads over uneven site ground.

Industrial areas, ports and project sites such as Jeddah Islamic Port and Jeddah Industrial City are part of the picture around Jeddah. Say which site you are working at so suppliers can quote delivery properly.

Straight-line distances from Jeddah to the nearest bases in our data: Makkah (about 75 km), Taif (about 130 km) and Yanbu (about 310 km). Road distance and machine size drive mobilisation cost, so a supplier based closer is often cheaper to deliver from. Say in your request if you are open to a machine based elsewhere.
