Access Platforms for Rent in Jubail

What to consider when renting access platforms

Hiring access platforms goes more smoothly when the basics are settled before you ask for prices. These points shape the quote:

• Check working height and outreach against the actual task. Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is lower than the figure quoted.
• Ask for the registration, inspection and operator documents your site or client requires before the machine arrives.
• Rates on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

Types of access platforms

Choose the type first for the job in hand, then open its page for the available sizes and brands. This group has 4 types: boom lifts, scissor lifts, spider lifts and vertical mast lifts.

• Boom Lifts: Self-propelled access platforms with an articulating or telescopic boom that lets operators reach up and out to work at height.
• Scissor Lifts: Platforms that rise vertically on crossed supports, giving a large, stable work surface for several people and their tools.
• Spider Lifts: Compact tracked boom lifts with outriggers that spread like a spider's legs, letting them work on slopes and uneven ground and fit through narrow gates and doorways.
• Vertical Mast Lifts: Compact, electric, single-person or push-around lifts with a vertical mast, designed for indoor work at moderate heights.

What affects the price of renting access platforms

There is no single market rate for access platforms: the figure on a quote depends on the points below.

• Site and access: remote sites, restricted access and special permits can add cost.
• Availability: rates can move with demand, so the same machine may be quoted differently at different times of year.
• VAT: listed rates are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for access platforms in Jubail

Jubail is a Gulf-coast city in the Eastern Province, known for Jubail Industrial City and its petrochemical, steel and heavy-industry plants. For oil and gas, as well as industrial and power work, access platforms are core equipment.

Well-known industrial and project areas in and around Jubail include Jubail Industrial City, as well as King Fahd Industrial Port, Jubail. Mention the exact site or zone in your request so suppliers can price delivery and mobilisation accurately.

If the machine you want is not in Jubail, a supplier in a nearby city may be able to deliver it: Dammam (about 80 km), Ras Al-Khair (about 65 km) and Al Khobar (about 100 km), measured in a straight line. Tell us if you are flexible on where the machine starts from.
