14m Scissor Lifts for Rent in Makkah

What to consider when renting 14m scissor lifts

Hiring 14m scissor lifts goes more smoothly when the basics are settled before you ask for prices. These points shape the quote:

• Have the key figures ready. For 14m scissor lifts, suppliers will ask about max working height and platform capacity before they can price the hire.
• Check who will run it. 14m scissor lifts are often dry hire, so if nobody on your crew is qualified, ask the supplier whether an operator can be added.
• Make sure your crew has the familiarisation and fall-protection equipment the site requires, and ask whether the supplier can provide it.
• Check what the rate includes: fuel, operator, insurance, consumables and the supplier's breakdown response.
• Rates on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

What the 14m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 14m class groups scissor lifts whose max working height falls roughly between 13 and 16 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 10m scissor lifts, 8m scissor lifts, 12m scissor lifts and 18m scissor lifts.

What affects the price of renting 14m scissor lifts

There is no single market rate for 14m scissor lifts: the figure on a quote depends on the points below.

• Delivery and return: mobilisation to and from your site is often charged separately and depends on distance and machine size.
• Machine size and age: larger, newer or better-equipped machines are priced higher.
• VAT: listed rates are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.
