70-ton Mobile Cranes for Sale in Abu Dhabi

What to check before buying 70-ton mobile cranes

Buying 70-ton mobile cranes in Abu Dhabi is a long-term commitment, so check these points first:

• Compare the specifications that matter most for 70-ton mobile cranes: max lifting capacity, max boom length and max height under hook. Confirm them on the machine's data plate, not only in the advert.
• Confirm the configuration being sold (boom, counterweights, jib, attachments) and that safety devices such as load-moment indicators work.
• Arrange an inspection before you pay, ideally by someone independent of the seller.
• Agree what is included in the price, who arranges transport, and the payment and handover terms in writing.

What the 70-ton class means

On Arabian Tool, the 70-ton class groups mobile cranes whose max lifting capacity falls roughly between 60 and 85 tonnes. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Headline capacity is the maximum lift at the shortest radius. At the radius of your actual lift the machine can carry much less, so check your heaviest pick against the load chart before choosing a class.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 25-ton mobile cranes, 50-ton mobile cranes, 100-ton mobile cranes, 35-ton mobile cranes and 150-ton mobile cranes.

What affects the price of 70-ton mobile cranes for sale

There is no single market rate for 70-ton mobile cranes: the figure on a quote depends on the points below.

• Condition and hours: a lower hour-meter reading and a documented service history usually support a higher price.
• Brand and support: well-supported brands with local parts availability tend to be priced higher.
• VAT: listed prices are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for 70-ton mobile cranes in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates and the centre of its oil and gas sector, with major industrial and port zones such as KIZAD and Khalifa Port. 70-ton mobile cranes are core equipment for oil and gas, as well as construction work.

They are also put to work on shutdown and maintenance lifts at plants, as well as assembling temporary works and other cranes.

Straight-line distances from Abu Dhabi to the nearest bases in our data: Dubai (about 120 km) and Sharjah (about 140 km). Road distance and machine size drive mobilisation cost, so a supplier based closer is often cheaper to deliver from. Say in your request if you are open to a machine based elsewhere.
