Forklifts for Sale in Dhahran

What to check before buying forklifts

Before you commit to buying forklifts, work through these checks:

• Compare the specifications that matter most for forklifts: rated lifting capacity and max lift height. Confirm them on the machine's data plate, not only in the advert.
• Confirm the configuration being sold (boom, counterweights, jib, attachments) and that safety devices such as load-moment indicators work.
• Arrange an inspection before you pay, ideally by someone independent of the seller.
• Agree what is included in the price, who arranges transport, and the payment and handover terms in writing.

Choosing the right forklift size

Most enquiries for forklifts start with rated lifting capacity. The classes you can open from this page are 2-ton, 3-ton, 5-ton, 10-ton and 16-ton.

Rated capacity applies at a stated load centre and lift height. With attachments, a tall mast or an off-centre load the usable capacity is lower, so check the data plate against your heaviest pallet.

If you prefer a particular make, these have dedicated pages: Mitsubishi, Heli, Yale and Clark. Standardising on one brand can simplify parts and operator training.

What affects the price of forklifts for sale

Quotes for forklifts differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Condition and hours: a lower hour-meter reading and a documented service history usually support a higher price.
• Attachments and extras: any accessories, tooling or covers that come with the machine can change the price.
• VAT: listed prices are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for forklifts in Dhahran

Dhahran is a city in the Eastern Province known as the home of Saudi Aramco's headquarters and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. Forklifts are core equipment for oil and gas, as well as construction work.

Other jobs that call for them: loading and unloading trucks and containers, as well as moving building materials around construction sites.

Tell us the site address or district in your request, since delivery and mobilisation are priced from it.

If the machine you want is not in Dhahran, a supplier in a nearby city may be able to deliver it: Dammam (about 15 km), Al Khobar (about 10 km) and Jubail (about 95 km), measured in a straight line. Tell us if you are flexible on where the machine starts from.
