Forklifts for Sale in Makkah

What to check before buying forklifts

Before you commit to buying forklifts, work through these checks:

• Compare the specifications that matter most for forklifts: rated lifting capacity and max lift height. Confirm them on the machine's data plate, not only in the advert.
• Plan transport and commissioning: heavy lifting equipment may need escorts, permits and registration before it can work.
• Agree what is included in the price, who arranges transport, and the payment and handover terms in writing.
• Prices on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

Choosing the right forklift size

The first question for forklifts is rated lifting capacity. Arabian Tool groups listings into these classes: 2-ton, 3-ton, 5-ton, 10-ton and 16-ton.

Rated capacity applies at a stated load centre and lift height. With attachments, a tall mast or an off-centre load the usable capacity is lower, so check the data plate against your heaviest pallet.

If you prefer a particular make, these have dedicated pages: Hyundai, Hyster, Linde and Hangcha. Standardising on one brand can simplify parts and operator training.

What affects the price of forklifts for sale

There is no single market rate for forklifts: the figure on a quote depends on the points below.

• Year and model: newer models and popular configurations hold their value better.
• Attachments and extras: any accessories, tooling or covers that come with the machine can change the price.
• VAT: listed prices are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for forklifts in Makkah

Makkah is the holiest city in Islam, located in the Hejaz region, with extensive construction and hospitality development serving Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. Forklifts are core equipment for construction work.

They are also put to work on loading and unloading trucks and containers, as well as moving building materials around construction sites.

Tell us the site address or district in your request, since delivery and mobilisation are priced from it.

Nearby bases and their straight-line distance from Makkah: Jeddah (about 75 km), Taif (about 60 km) and Madinah (about 350 km). Delivery is priced on the actual route and the machine's size, so ask each supplier for a delivered price.
