Forklifts for Sale in Dubai

What to check before buying forklifts

Before you commit to buying forklifts, work through these checks:

• Line up the key figures for forklifts: rated lifting capacity and max lift height. Check each against the data plate and the manufacturer's data for the model.
• Plan transport and commissioning: heavy lifting equipment may need escorts, permits and registration before it can work.
• Arrange an inspection before you pay, ideally by someone independent of the seller.
• Ask what warranty or after-sales support, if any, the seller offers, and get it in writing.

Choosing the right forklift size

The first question for forklifts is rated lifting capacity. Arabian Tool groups listings into these classes: 2-ton, 3-ton, 5-ton, 7-ton and 10-ton.

Rated capacity applies at a stated load centre and lift height. With attachments, a tall mast or an off-centre load the usable capacity is lower, so check the data plate against your heaviest pallet.

Brands with their own pages: Toyota, Mitsubishi, Yale and Clark. A brand page helps if you need a specific make for operator familiarity or parts support.

What affects the price of forklifts for sale

Quotes for forklifts differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Condition and hours: a lower hour-meter reading and a documented service history usually support a higher price.
• Brand and support: well-supported brands with local parts availability tend to be priced higher.
• Attachments and extras: any accessories, tooling or covers that come with the machine can change the price.

Typical projects for forklifts in Dubai

Dubai is the largest city in the United Arab Emirates and a major regional hub for construction, trade and logistics, home to Jebel Ali Port. Forklifts are core equipment for construction, as well as logistics and ports work.

Other jobs that call for them: loading and unloading trucks and containers, as well as pallet handling and racking in warehouses.

Industrial areas, ports and project sites such as Jebel Ali Port, Jebel Ali Free Zone and Dubai Industrial City are part of the picture around Dubai. Say which site you are working at so suppliers can quote delivery properly.

If the machine you want is not in Dubai, a supplier in a nearby city may be able to deliver it: Sharjah (about 20 km) and Abu Dhabi (about 120 km), measured in a straight line. Tell us if you are flexible on where the machine starts from.
