Scissor Lifts for Sale in Dubai

What to check before buying scissor lifts

Buying scissor lifts in Dubai is a long-term commitment, so check these points first:

• Line up the key figures for scissor lifts: max working height and platform capacity. Check each against the data plate and the manufacturer's data for the model.
• Ask for service and inspection records, including the latest examination of the lifting structure, and the manufacturer's data for the model.
• Agree what is included in the price, who arranges transport, and the payment and handover terms in writing.
• Prices on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

Choosing the right scissor lift size

The first question for scissor lifts is max working height. Arabian Tool groups listings into these classes: 8m, 10m, 12m, 14m and 18m.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

If you prefer a particular make, these have dedicated pages: Genie, Haulotte, Dingli and Snorkel. Standardising on one brand can simplify parts and operator training.

What affects the price of scissor lifts for sale

Quotes for scissor lifts differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Condition and hours: a lower hour-meter reading and a documented service history usually support a higher price.
• Brand and support: well-supported brands with local parts availability tend to be priced higher.
• Attachments and extras: any accessories, tooling or covers that come with the machine can change the price.

Typical projects for scissor lifts in Dubai

Dubai is the largest city in the United Arab Emirates and a major regional hub for construction, trade and logistics, home to Jebel Ali Port. Scissor lifts are core equipment for construction, as well as industrial and power work.

Other jobs that call for them: ceiling, MEP and fire-system installation, as well as interior fit-out and painting.

Well-known industrial and project areas in and around Dubai include Jebel Ali Port, Jebel Ali Free Zone and Dubai Industrial City. Mention the exact site or zone in your request so suppliers can price delivery and mobilisation accurately.

If the machine you want is not in Dubai, a supplier in a nearby city may be able to deliver it: Sharjah (about 20 km) and Abu Dhabi (about 120 km), measured in a straight line. Tell us if you are flexible on where the machine starts from.
