8m Scissor Lifts for Rent in Jeddah

What to consider when renting 8m scissor lifts

A few checks before you request a quote for 8m scissor lifts in Jeddah save time later:

• Have the key figures ready. For 8m scissor lifts, suppliers will ask about max working height and platform capacity before they can price the hire.
• Check who will run it. 8m scissor lifts are often dry hire, so if nobody on your crew is qualified, ask the supplier whether an operator can be added.
• Check working height and outreach against the actual task. Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is lower than the figure quoted.
• Confirm the minimum rental period, the daily, weekly or monthly rate, and what happens when the machine stands idle on site.
• Rates on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

What the 8m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 8m class groups scissor lifts whose max working height falls roughly between 4 and 9 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 10m scissor lifts, 12m scissor lifts, 14m scissor lifts and 18m scissor lifts.

What affects the price of renting 8m scissor lifts

Two quotes for 8m scissor lifts can differ widely for good reasons. Check these factors when you compare:

• Operator and fuel: check whether the rate is for the machine alone or includes an operator, fuel and overtime.
• Site and access: remote sites, restricted access and special permits can add cost.
• Machine size and age: larger, newer or better-equipped machines are priced higher.
