14m Scissor Lifts for Rent in Jeddah

What to consider when renting 14m scissor lifts

A few checks before you request a quote for 14m scissor lifts in Jeddah save time later:

• Know your numbers: the specifications that matter most for 14m scissor lifts are max working height and platform capacity. Having them to hand makes quotes faster and more accurate.
• Check who will run it. 14m scissor lifts are often dry hire, so if nobody on your crew is qualified, ask the supplier whether an operator can be added.
• Check working height and outreach against the actual task. Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is lower than the figure quoted.
• Ask for the registration, inspection and operator documents your site or client requires before the machine arrives.
• Share the site location, access route and start date so the supplier can confirm availability for your dates.

What the 14m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 14m class groups scissor lifts whose max working height falls roughly between 13 and 16 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 10m scissor lifts, 8m scissor lifts, 12m scissor lifts and 18m scissor lifts.

What affects the price of renting 14m scissor lifts

Two quotes for 14m scissor lifts can differ widely for good reasons. Check these factors when you compare:

• Site and access: remote sites, restricted access and special permits can add cost.
• Availability: rates can move with demand, so the same machine may be quoted differently at different times of year.
• VAT: listed rates are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.
