Crawler Cranes for Sale in Jeddah

What to check before buying crawler cranes

Use this checklist when you compare machines and prices for crawler cranes:

• Compare the specifications that matter most for crawler cranes: max lifting capacity, max boom length and max height under hook. Confirm them on the machine's data plate, not only in the advert.
• Confirm the configuration being sold (boom, counterweights, jib, attachments) and that safety devices such as load-moment indicators work.
• Ask for the ownership and registration documents and check that they match the machine's serial number.
• Prices on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

Choosing the right crawler crane size

Crawler cranes are usually specified by max lifting capacity. On Arabian Tool you can browse these classes: 50-ton, 100-ton, 150-ton, 200-ton and 300-ton.

Headline capacity is the maximum lift at the shortest radius. At the radius of your actual lift the machine can carry much less, so check your heaviest pick against the load chart before choosing a class.

If you prefer a particular make, these have dedicated pages: Liebherr, Manitowoc, Sany and XCMG. Standardising on one brand can simplify parts and operator training.

What affects the price of crawler cranes for sale

Quotes for crawler cranes differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Brand and support: well-supported brands with local parts availability tend to be priced higher.
• Location and transport: moving heavy equipment adds cost that depends on distance and machine size.
• VAT: listed prices are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for crawler cranes in Jeddah

Jeddah is a major Red Sea port city and the commercial hub of western Saudi Arabia, home to Jeddah Islamic Port. Crawler cranes are core equipment for industrial and power work. You will often see crawler cranes on logistics and ports sites.

They are also put to work on heavy lifts at power, petrochemical and industrial plants, as well as pick-and-carry of loads over prepared ground.

Well-known industrial and project areas in and around Jeddah include Jeddah Islamic Port and Jeddah Industrial City. Mention the exact site or zone in your request so suppliers can price delivery and mobilisation accurately.

Nearby bases and their straight-line distance from Jeddah: Makkah (about 75 km), Taif (about 130 km) and Yanbu (about 310 km). Delivery is priced on the actual route and the machine's size, so ask each supplier for a delivered price.
