14m Boom Lifts for Rent in Makkah

What to consider when renting 14m boom lifts

Use this checklist when you compare offers for 14m boom lifts:

• Start from the specification: max working height, max horizontal outreach and platform capacity are what separate one set of 14m boom lifts from another, so note them down before you ask for rates.
• 14m boom lifts are usually hired without an operator unless the listing says otherwise; if your crew is not qualified to run one, ask for an operator with the machine.
• Check working height and outreach against the actual task. Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is lower than the figure quoted.
• Ask for the registration, inspection and operator documents your site or client requires before the machine arrives.
• Rates on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

What the 14m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 14m class groups boom lifts whose max working height falls roughly between 12 and 17 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 20m boom lifts, 10m boom lifts, 28m boom lifts and 40m boom lifts.

What affects the price of renting 14m boom lifts

Quotes for 14m boom lifts differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Delivery and return: mobilisation to and from your site is often charged separately and depends on distance and machine size.
• Availability: rates can move with demand, so the same machine may be quoted differently at different times of year.
• VAT: listed rates are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.
