Vertical Mast Lifts for Rent in Makkah

What to consider when renting vertical mast lifts

A few checks before you request a quote for vertical mast lifts in Makkah save time later:

• Start from the specification: max working height and platform capacity are what separate one set of vertical mast lifts from another, so note them down before you ask for rates.
• Vertical mast lifts are usually hired without an operator unless the listing says otherwise; if your crew is not qualified to run one, ask for an operator with the machine.
• Choose the power and drive type for the site: electric platforms suit indoor and finished floors, while diesel rough-terrain models suit uneven outdoor ground.
• Ask for the registration, inspection and operator documents your site or client requires before the machine arrives.
• Share the site location, access route and start date so the supplier can confirm availability for your dates.

Choosing the right vertical mast lift size

The first question for vertical mast lifts is max working height. Arabian Tool groups listings into these classes: 6m, 8m and 10m.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

If you prefer a particular make, these have dedicated pages: Genie and JLG. Standardising on one brand can simplify parts and operator training.

What affects the price of renting vertical mast lifts

Quotes for vertical mast lifts differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Site and access: remote sites, restricted access and special permits can add cost.
• Machine size and age: larger, newer or better-equipped machines are priced higher.
• VAT: listed rates are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for vertical mast lifts in Makkah

Makkah is the holiest city in Islam, located in the Hejaz region, with extensive construction and hospitality development serving Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. Vertical mast lifts are common on construction projects.

Other jobs that call for them: warehouse and retail maintenance, as well as signage and cabling work.

Mention the exact site or district in your request so suppliers can price delivery and mobilisation accurately.

Nearby bases and their straight-line distance from Makkah: Jeddah (about 75 km), Taif (about 60 km) and Madinah (about 350 km). Delivery is priced on the actual route and the machine's size, so ask each supplier for a delivered price.
