12m Scissor Lifts for Rent in Manama

What to consider when renting 12m scissor lifts

A few checks before you request a quote for 12m scissor lifts in Manama save time later:

• Start from the specification: max working height and platform capacity are what separate one set of 12m scissor lifts from another, so note them down before you ask for rates.
• Check who will run it. 12m scissor lifts are often dry hire, so if nobody on your crew is qualified, ask the supplier whether an operator can be added.
• Make sure your crew has the familiarisation and fall-protection equipment the site requires, and ask whether the supplier can provide it.
• Confirm the minimum rental period, the daily, weekly or monthly rate, and what happens when the machine stands idle on site.
• Check what the rate includes: fuel, operator, insurance, consumables and the supplier's breakdown response.

What the 12m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 12m class groups scissor lifts whose max working height falls roughly between 11 and 13 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 10m scissor lifts, 8m scissor lifts, 14m scissor lifts and 18m scissor lifts.

What affects the price of renting 12m scissor lifts

Two quotes for 12m scissor lifts can differ widely for good reasons. Check these factors when you compare:

• Duration: longer hires are usually priced lower per day, and many suppliers quote daily, weekly and monthly rates.
• Operator and fuel: check whether the rate is for the machine alone or includes an operator, fuel and overtime.
• Delivery and return: mobilisation to and from your site is often charged separately and depends on distance and machine size.

Typical projects for 12m scissor lifts in Manama

Manama is the capital and main commercial centre of Bahrain, which is linked to Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province by the King Fahd Causeway. 12m scissor lifts are core equipment for construction, as well as industrial and power work.

Other jobs that call for them: interior fit-out and painting, as well as cladding and facade work on low-rise buildings.

Straight-line distances from Manama to the nearest bases in our data: Al Khobar (about 40 km), Dammam (about 55 km) and Doha (about 140 km). Road distance and machine size drive mobilisation cost, so a supplier based closer is often cheaper to deliver from. Say in your request if you are open to a machine based elsewhere.
