Scissor Lifts for Sale in Riyadh

What to check before buying scissor lifts

Before you commit to buying scissor lifts, work through these checks:

• Compare the specifications that matter most for scissor lifts: max working height and platform capacity. Confirm them on the machine's data plate, not only in the advert.
• Ask for service and inspection records, including the latest examination of the lifting structure, and the manufacturer's data for the model.
• Agree what is included in the price, who arranges transport, and the payment and handover terms in writing.
• Prices on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

Choosing the right scissor lift size

The first question for scissor lifts is max working height. Arabian Tool groups listings into these classes: 8m, 10m, 12m, 14m and 18m.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Brands with their own pages: JLG, Genie, Haulotte and Dingli. A brand page helps if you need a specific make for operator familiarity or parts support.

What affects the price of scissor lifts for sale

Quotes for scissor lifts differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Year and model: newer models and popular configurations hold their value better.
• Brand and support: well-supported brands with local parts availability tend to be priced higher.
• VAT: listed prices are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for scissor lifts in Riyadh

Riyadh is the capital and largest city of Saudi Arabia and the centre of its government, finance and major urban development. Scissor lifts are core equipment for construction, as well as industrial and power work.

They are also put to work on cladding and facade work on low-rise buildings, as well as warehouse and retail maintenance.

Industrial areas, ports and project sites such as Riyadh Second Industrial City, Diriyah Gate and Qiddiya are part of the picture around Riyadh. Say which site you are working at so suppliers can quote delivery properly.

If the machine you want is not in Riyadh, a supplier in a nearby city may be able to deliver it: Al-Kharj (about 90 km), Buraidah (about 320 km) and Hofuf (about 300 km), measured in a straight line. Tell us if you are flexible on where the machine starts from.
