Caterpillar Pipelayers for Rent in Ras Al-Khair

What to consider when renting Caterpillar pipelayers

A few checks before you request a quote for Caterpillar pipelayers in Ras Al-Khair save time later:

• Start from the specification: max lifting capacity are what separate one set of Caterpillar pipelayers from another, so note them down before you ask for rates.
• Plan for the operator. Caterpillar pipelayers are often supplied with a qualified operator, and whether fuel and overtime are part of the rate differs from supplier to supplier.
• Agree who covers routine servicing, wear parts and breakdown response during the hire, and how a replacement machine is arranged if one is needed.
• Confirm the minimum rental period, the daily, weekly or monthly rate, and what happens when the machine stands idle on site.
• Check what the rate includes: fuel, operator, insurance, consumables and the supplier's breakdown response.

About Caterpillar pipelayers

What affects the price of renting Caterpillar pipelayers

Quotes for Caterpillar pipelayers differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Operator and fuel: check whether the rate is for the machine alone or includes an operator, fuel and overtime.
• Delivery and return: mobilisation to and from your site is often charged separately and depends on distance and machine size.
• VAT: listed rates are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for Caterpillar pipelayers in Ras Al-Khair

Ras Al-Khair is an industrial and port area on the Gulf coast north of Jubail, known for Ma'aden's mining and metals processing complex and a large power and desalination plant. In mining and quarrying, as well as industrial and power, Caterpillar pipelayers are a more specialised choice.

Other jobs that call for them: large-diameter water and sewer mains, as well as pipe stringing along the right-of-way.

If the machine you want is not in Ras Al-Khair, a supplier in a nearby city may be able to deliver it: Jubail (about 65 km) and Dammam (about 150 km), measured in a straight line. Tell us if you are flexible on where the machine starts from.
