20m Boom Lifts for Rent in Riyadh

What to consider when renting 20m boom lifts

Use this checklist when you compare offers for 20m boom lifts:

• Start from the specification: max working height, max horizontal outreach and platform capacity are what separate one set of 20m boom lifts from another, so note them down before you ask for rates.
• Check who will run it. 20m boom lifts are often dry hire, so if nobody on your crew is qualified, ask the supplier whether an operator can be added.
• Make sure your crew has the familiarisation and fall-protection equipment the site requires, and ask whether the supplier can provide it.
• Confirm the minimum rental period, the daily, weekly or monthly rate, and what happens when the machine stands idle on site.
• Ask what delivery and return cost, who loads and unloads, and the condition the machine must be returned in.

What the 20m class means

On Arabian Tool, the 20m class groups boom lifts whose max working height falls roughly between 17 and 24 metres. Each machine is placed in the nearest class to its actual specification.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

Not sure which class you need? Describe the job in your request and ask the supplier to confirm the size. You can also look at 14m boom lifts, 10m boom lifts, 28m boom lifts and 40m boom lifts.

What affects the price of renting 20m boom lifts

Quotes for 20m boom lifts differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Duration: longer hires are usually priced lower per day, and many suppliers quote daily, weekly and monthly rates.
• Site and access: remote sites, restricted access and special permits can add cost.
• Machine size and age: larger, newer or better-equipped machines are priced higher.
