Boom Lifts for Rent in Riyadh

What to consider when renting boom lifts

A few checks before you request a quote for boom lifts in Riyadh save time later:

• Start from the specification: max working height, max horizontal outreach and platform capacity are what separate one set of boom lifts from another, so note them down before you ask for rates.
• Check who will run it. Boom lifts are often dry hire, so if nobody on your crew is qualified, ask the supplier whether an operator can be added.
• Make sure your crew has the familiarisation and fall-protection equipment the site requires, and ask whether the supplier can provide it.
• Ask what delivery and return cost, who loads and unloads, and the condition the machine must be returned in.
• Share the site location, access route and start date so the supplier can confirm availability for your dates.

Choosing the right boom lift size

Most enquiries for boom lifts start with max working height. The classes you can open from this page are 10m, 14m, 20m, 28m and 40m.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

If you prefer a particular make, these have dedicated pages: JLG, Haulotte, Skyjack and Manitou. Standardising on one brand can simplify parts and operator training.

What affects the price of renting boom lifts

Two quotes for boom lifts can differ widely for good reasons. Check these factors when you compare:

• Duration: longer hires are usually priced lower per day, and many suppliers quote daily, weekly and monthly rates.
• Delivery and return: mobilisation to and from your site is often charged separately and depends on distance and machine size.
• VAT: listed rates are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for boom lifts in Riyadh

Riyadh is the capital and largest city of Saudi Arabia and the centre of its government, finance and major urban development. For construction, as well as industrial and power work, boom lifts are core equipment.

They are also hired for facade, cladding and glazing installation, as well as painting, inspection and maintenance of tall structures.

Well-known industrial and project areas in and around Riyadh include Riyadh Second Industrial City, Diriyah Gate and Qiddiya. Mention the exact site or zone in your request so suppliers can price delivery and mobilisation accurately.

If the machine you want is not in Riyadh, a supplier in a nearby city may be able to deliver it: Al-Kharj (about 90 km), Buraidah (about 320 km) and Hofuf (about 300 km), measured in a straight line. Tell us if you are flexible on where the machine starts from.
