Spider Lifts for Rent in Riyadh

What to consider when renting spider lifts

Use this checklist when you compare offers for spider lifts:

• Start from the specification: max working height, max horizontal outreach and platform capacity are what separate one set of spider lifts from another, so note them down before you ask for rates.
• Check who will run it. Spider lifts are often dry hire, so if nobody on your crew is qualified, ask the supplier whether an operator can be added.
• Check working height and outreach against the actual task. Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is lower than the figure quoted.
• Check what the rate includes: fuel, operator, insurance, consumables and the supplier's breakdown response.
• Rates on Arabian Tool are in SAR and exclude VAT, so ask whether your quote is inclusive or exclusive.

Choosing the right spider lift size

Spider lifts are usually specified by max working height. On Arabian Tool you can browse these classes: 15m, 20m and 28m.

Working height assumes a person standing on the platform, so the platform floor is typically a couple of metres lower than the figure quoted. Check horizontal outreach as well as height before choosing a class.

What affects the price of renting spider lifts

Quotes for spider lifts differ from supplier to supplier. These are the factors that move the price:

• Duration: longer hires are usually priced lower per day, and many suppliers quote daily, weekly and monthly rates.
• Operator and fuel: check whether the rate is for the machine alone or includes an operator, fuel and overtime.
• VAT: listed rates are in SAR and exclude VAT, which is added to the final invoice where it applies.

Typical projects for spider lifts in Riyadh

Riyadh is the capital and largest city of Saudi Arabia and the centre of its government, finance and major urban development. Spider lifts are common on construction, as well as industrial and power projects.

Other jobs that call for them: facade and glazing installation in restricted areas, as well as lighting, signage and tree care.

Well-known industrial and project areas in and around Riyadh include Riyadh Second Industrial City, Diriyah Gate and Qiddiya. Mention the exact site or zone in your request so suppliers can price delivery and mobilisation accurately.

If the machine you want is not in Riyadh, a supplier in a nearby city may be able to deliver it: Al-Kharj (about 90 km), Buraidah (about 320 km) and Hofuf (about 300 km), measured in a straight line. Tell us if you are flexible on where the machine starts from.
